NITA NAIR | Paper Flowers

My short film explores the blossoming and unspoken bond that is formed between two unlikely people. This project is loosely based on my personal experience as a volunteer with The Art Cart program at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. I was inspired by how arts and crafts can be used to connect to patients and alleviate stress within a hospital’s tense environment. While emphasizing the power of art therapy, I wanted my project to showcase how small acts of kindness can be unexpectedly meaningful for someone. I hope to convey a sense of intimacy and fragility.
