BRANDT MATTHEWS | Colossus

I came up with the idea of Colossus when considering the overall tone of my four years of college. I'd never been busier- I felt like I was running around constantly trying to accomplish an endless list of tasks. And yet, looking back on it all, it seemed oddly calm. Maybe it's that carefree moments leave the deepest impressions, or that we block out the stress fueled moments. Regardless, I wanted to make a piece that spoke to tackling the titanic and the moments of joy that sprout amidst hours of work. How can you approaching doing literally everything? Well, I guess one step at a time. 

Colossus is an animated short following a lonely ghost in charge of accomplishing every action Earth. The only way to counter great responsibility is with even greater placidity.
