Digital Accounts
MICA Credentials for ALL USERS
A myMICA account will be created for all students, staff and faculty. These MICA credentials allow log-in access to computers, the server, Linkedin Learning, WebCheckout and Adobe Creative Cloud. If JHU students enroll in a MICA course, they can then access the online materials on Canvas.
When JHU students enroll in any course at the Film Centre they are automatically provided credentials. New JHU faculty and staff will also receive credentials upon hire. All will receive a welcome email from MICA to their personal email address. Please contact either help@mica.edu for assistance or Melissa at mcapello@jhu.edu.
If you have set up an account but forgot your password reset your password here.
If you forgot your username you can ask any Film Centre staff member to look up your account in WebCheckout to see if an account was created.
Canvas (MICA) & Blackboard (JHU)
Courses at MICA use the Canvas online learning platform and courses at JHU use Blackboard. If a JHU student takes a MICA course, they will automatically be enrolled in Canvas using their MICA credentials. MICA students taking JHU classes will have to be added to Blackboard, and they will receive an email from JHU Blackboard to set up JHU credentials. If any student encounters any issues using Moodle or Blackboard, they should get in touch with Melissa Capello mcapelloatjhudotedu.
